Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith Scene 47 Summary

  • Yoda and Obi-Wan are trying to come up with a plan to keep Padmé and Anakin's twins safe and hidden away.
  • Together, their presence would be felt by the Sith, so the babies have to be split up.
  • Senator Organa says they'll take Leia. He and his wife have always wanted to adopt a baby girl, so that works out just fine for them.
  • Obi-Wan will take Luke to Tatooine to his family and watch over him from a distance.
  • Yoda tells Obi-Wan that he has training for him to do while he's basically in exile on Tatooine.
  • He says an old friend—Obi-Wan's old Master, Qui-Gon (now dead)—learned a path to immortality. Yoda says he can teach him how to communicate with him. Sweet.
  • Senator Organa orders someone to clean up C-3PO and R2-D2 and have C-3PO's mind wiped.
  • Back on Coruscant, we see Padmé's sad funeral procession, filled with political dignitaries. She is laid out beautifully, seemingly still pregnant and clutching the necklace from Anakin.
  • We cut to Darth Vader and the Emperor admiring their Death Star, still in the early stages of construction.
