- Judge DeSalvo calls a fifteen-minute recess, then he returns with his decision.
- Are you sitting down for this? Well, it's a courtroom, so you'd best stand up to hear the decision.
- He says to Anna, "I'm going to declare you medically emancipated from your parents" (6.10.19).
- Whoa… Did you see that coming?
- Even more shocking, he gives Campbell power of attorney for Anna until she's eighteen.
- Julia tells Anna and Campbell they were both very brave, and then Anna slips away into a group hug with her parents.
