Laran is one of Mattie Han's daughters, who has dark hair (13.1). She is, according to Sadima, "as kind and good-hearted as Mattie" (13.6). Micah asks her to marry him, and presumably she accepts (though Sadima leaves home before we can learn more about how that relationship develops).
