Character Analysis
Luke is a "tall blond boy" (26.3) who talks with Levin at the academy. He's rooming with Jordan, who says when Luke wants to be first to try making food with the stone: "You have to be first at everything… To wash, to piss, everything" (28.5). He sounds like a real winner. Levin warns Hahp that Luke hates him, because Hahp's father cheated Luke's father (50.11). Guess Luke doesn't get that the last thing these boys need is to be divided by petty conflicts while the wizards are trying to kill them.
