  3. Who is the most changed by the war? Why? Is anyone changed in a positive way?
  4. How does Pin differ from Graceful? Why are both of their relationships with their dads so important to them?
  5. What's the deal with Cam's relationship with Graceful and Diido? Who do you want him to be with more? Why?
  6. Is Cam more of an Uplander or a Downlander? What makes you think so?
  7. How are Uplanders and Downlanders different? Why does it come as a surprise to the characters that the other group has similar traditions?
