We Were Liars Chapter 32 Summary

  • Gat comes running up to Cadence as she walks toward New Clairmont. He didn't get to hug her yesterday, and he wants to.
  • They hug and walk around the perimeter. He asks if she remembers the last time they walked down there together.
  • She doesn't, of course, since she doesn't remember anything, except that he went two years without talking to her. She asks why.
  • He tells her he's handling everything badly and asks if they can just start over.
  • She tells him he's thoughtless and confusing and manipulative, but she agrees to start over after lunch.
  • Gat says he's going to run away now, and tells her not to take it personally.
