- Johnny fills Cadence in on Gat's New York City girlfriend: Her name is Raquel, and she's a modern dancer.
- Cadence is so angry she gets drunk, pukes on the beach, and punches the wall of the shower, but she acts normal around Gat in the coming days. Drinking and acting normal are what Sinclairs do best.
- One night, while having a picnic on the beach, Gat starts telling Cadence, Mirren, and Johnny about his volunteer trip to India, in which he helped build toilets for people living in poverty.
- Johnny tells him to shut up about it, but Gat's on a roll. He asks how it's possible for anyone to actually own an island—after all, land belongs to everyone.
- Cadence tells him she'll give him chocolate if he'll shut up.
- He gets angry and runs into the water in his jeans. Cadence knows that if she doesn't follow him, she'll lose him forever, so she runs into the water in her dress.
- She says that when they tell him to shut up, what they're really telling him is that they love him, and that he reminds them of their selfishness.
- They have a moment of mooning over each other before Johnny and Mirren run into the ocean with them.
