  • Ben tells Dylan to go dry off and have some food.
  • The storm's still going strong. Ben's been at the helm for literally twenty-four hours without food, water, or rest. On the bright side, the wind seems to be letting up a little.
  • Dylan comes to relieve Ben from duty. At first, Ben doesn't want his help. Eventually he realizes he needs to refuel and rest.
  • On his way below deck, Ben sees how huge the waves are. He was so absorbed in his sailing he didn't notice them before.
  • Ben goes down to Gerry, who's scared witless. Ben can't deal with his little brother's questions right now.
