  • Dad tries to convince Ben to come with them. When he won't, Dad gives him some money.
  • Dad and Gerry drive away in a cab. Ben thinks about his mother. He misses her so much.
  • Ben's flashing back to a time years ago, when his father talked to him about being a dad. He said it was scary, but he just had to "jump."
  • Ben's feeling a rush of tenderness for his father. He drops his duffel and takes off running after the cab.
  • Back at home, the boxes are unpacked and life goes on. The family buys a boat, but this one's just for sailing on the lake.
