Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging Chapter 4 Summary

November: A Bit of Rough

  • Jas and Georgia are on good terms again, but all Jas does is talk about Tom, much to Georgia's disappointment.
  • In kitty news, Angus is acting crazy again, chasing rockets and such.
  • Georgia goes to a bonfire for Guy Fawkes Night and meets a boy.
  • Jas questions her relationship with Tom—he works a lot instead of hanging out with her—and Georgia, drunk with "wisdom," tells Jas that she can do better than him. Jas breaks up with Tom but immediately questions the decision. Georgia is once more irritated with her bestie.
  • Robbie gives Georgia the evil eye while standing by the school gate, though as is Robbie's way, it's a pretty sexy evil glare.
  • Ever the tactful one (not), Jas tells Robbie that part of the reason she's not dating Tom anymore is because Georgia gave her grief about dating a man in the produce business.
  • While in German class, Georgia and a few of her friends come up with an appearance scoring system—because that's not a heap of hurt feelings waiting to happen.
  • Georgia is shocked by her scores and feels even more self-conscious than before. Jas gets much better scores, though, putting her in a good mood—and further irritating Georgia.
  • Georgia's dad tells her that he is taking a trip to New Zealand. In fact, he's considering moving the family there since he might lose his job in England.
  • Georgia bumps into the boy from the bonfire. Guess what? He has a name; it's Mark. Georgia feels comfortable around him because he has an even bigger mouth than she does.
  • When she overhears her parents fighting, Georgia decides to live with her mother in case they split up. Way to be prepared, kid.
