- Edgar Bug finds a jeweler named Rosenberg and tails him.
- At MiB headquarters, Zed debriefs Kay and Jay, mentioning an unauthorized landing in upstate New York. The alarm sounds as an alien named Reggie has left his designated zone. Zed sends Kay and Jay to deal with it.
- Jay's less than impressed with their choice of vehicle, a 1987 Ford LTD Crown Victoria, and he sasses Kay for his lack of people skills.
- Kay warns him to never touch the red button in the car, and Jay shows more restraint than we have by not doing so immediately. Soon, though.
