Beatrice is the original Edgar's wife. Or is that widow? We aren't sure what New York divorce law says about an alien insect invading your husband's body and walking off with it.
After the Bug kills and skins Edgar, it enters their home and demands sugar water. She notices the skin is hanging off its bones and then faints as it readjusts the skin back like a rubber mask. It's gruesomely cartoony.
Later, Kay questions Beatrice and erases her memories of the events. Jay replaces them with a story where she kicked her abusive husband out and decided to improve her life. All things considered, we'd say she came out on top. If nothing else, Kay and Jay saved her a mint in attorney and psychiatrist fees.
