- Kay and Jay drive out to the farm to talk with Beatrice, Edgar's wife, now technically his widow. Beatrice tells them the story of how something came in wearing Edgar's skin and asked her for some sugar water.
- Kay neuralyzes Beatrice and gives her a new memory: the UFO was light from Venus reflecting off a weather balloon and Edgar ran off with an old girlfriend.
- Jay thinks Kay's story is weaksauce and steps in to provide her with a happier memory: she kicked out her abusive hubby.
- Kay analyzes the dirt from the crash site and confirms his fear: It's a Bug. Jay asks what their next move is and Kay says they'll keep their eyes on the morgues.
