Right Afterward
- Callie and Matthew sit on the sidewalk for a while, listening to Emmy's screams from inside. They feel sick with worry, but they know Nikki's not going to let them back into the house anytime soon.
- They consider talking to Aunt Bobbie, who lives in the same house on a different floor, but back then she wasn't very helpful—she didn't step in and confront Nikki about her treatment of the kids at all.
- Callie and Matthew go to church, and then they come back to find that Nikki, Rob, and Emmy are gone. And that's when they do go over to Aunt Bobbie, who says that she's sure Nikki will be back and then gets them all some fried chicken.
