Crash
- One fateful Saturday morning, the phone rings. It's Aunt Bobbie, and she needs the kids to come down to her part of the house right away. Apparently, Nikki is in the emergency room because she's been in a car crash.
- Nikki is going to be fine, but the other person in the crash—Julie Lindemann, Murdoch's neighbor—has been seriously hurt. Nikki has obviously gone too far this time; she's taken her stalking and obsessive behavior to a whole other level.
- Because of the accident, Julie's never going to walk again, which is awful. But some good does come out of it: Julie testifies against Nikki, and Ben and Aunt Bobbie are able to sue for joint custody of all three kids.
- In the end, the kids do get their freedom. But they still have to deal with the fact that Nikki is out there and could come for them at any time.
