Aunt Bobbie
- Matthew's view of Aunt Bobbie is complicated. On the one hand, Aunt Bobbie is now their hero—she took in Matthew and Emmy and is a great mom to them, going to their games and helping Matthew with all his college applications and generally being super supportive.
- But she also ignored what was going on right in front of her for many years. It's hard for him to understand how she underwent such a drastic personal change and stepped up to the role of motherhood.
