- It's graduation day, and Zombie's squad won the competition. They get new uniforms and special alien detection gear.
- Everyone's super excited… except for Nugget. He's too young to graduate. He has to train for two more years.
- Nugget's also bummed because Zombie is leaving. Zombie promises that he'll come back for Nugget. He gives Nugget his sister's locket to seal the deal.
- Zombie tells Ringer that she's squad leader now. It doesn't really mean anything now that they've graduated.
- Here's Reznik. He asks Zombie to come with him. He takes him to see Vosch.
- First things first: Zombie is sergeant now. Congrats, Zombie.
- Second, they talk about Tank. Vosch says he died of an overdose.
- Vosch confides a secret in Zombie. Oh wow, it's a story about the day he killed Cassie's dad.
- He confesses to killing everyone at the camp. He knows a lot of innocent people died that day. He doesn't regret it, exactly, but he feels really bad about it.
- So does that mean Vosch is actually a good guy? This is confusing.
- Anyway, Vosch says Zombie will have his pick of missions since the squad won the competition. Zombie chooses the most dangerous one, natch.
- He restates what we already know: one in three human survivors is actually an alien. These "sleeper agents" are supposed to kill the rest of humanity.
- Vosch says the plan is to attack the aliens. Zombie is really impressed. He thinks Vosch is the bee's knees.
