Character Analysis
Tendai's little brother tags along for the adventure simply because his older siblings are going. He doesn't really know what's going on, and Kuda spends most of the time they are gone playing with Trashman or crying for Mama. But don't think this little guy isn't fierce when he wants to be. As the martial arts instructor tells the General, "Your other son has the right spirit. He's a real little lion" (2.22). Kuda is brave, strong, and a natural warrior. He's just not old enough to show any of that off yet.
