- When Adam meets Blue in front of her house, she tells him that she doesn't get why he's interested in her—she's not pretty in the way that Aglionby boys seem to like. Adam insists that he finds her pretty, though, which makes her feel odd inside.
- She gives him Gansey's journal, telling him about how it was left at Nino's. Then she tells him that she wants to go find ley lines with them because she never gets to be in on any of the magical stuff; she's the only person in her house who's not a psychic.
- When they get to Gansey's apartment, Blue is surprised to find a helicopter parked there, even though she was warned. They all pile into their new ride, and Blue finds out that their pilot for the day is Helen, Gansey's beautiful older sister.
