- Skinny approaches, just as Little Bill accidentally hammers his finger. After some small talk about Bill's house, Skinny tells him what's really on his mind.
- The girls have been telling every one of their customers that they'll pay $1,000 to anybody who takes care Mike and Davey.
- Bill seems a little frustrated. He and Skinny speculate on how far word has traveled. Bill imagines it has already made its way to Texas.
- We know it's made its way to Kansas because the Schofield Kid told Will about it a few scenes ago.
- Skinny and Bill talk about the likelihood that the women actually have that much money. Neither one is sure.
- A train sounds in the distance. Bill is perplexed.
- Skinny suggests Bill could "run off" the cowboys. He responds by saying he could run off "them whores."
- Then he says the cowboys will stick around, out by Bar T (whatever that is), where their pals are.
- Skinny nervously says that maybe nobody will respond to the bounty at all before making a quick exit.
- Bill is perplexed.
