- Dinnertime. Reese is sitting with one of the inmates, who he has nicknamed King Kong, and no, it's not meant to be flattering.
- Play and Reese aren't feeling the new guy, who is, incidentally, clutching his plastic dinner knife like a mad man.
- They leave King Kong to go sit with the suicidal white kids.
- In the line leaving the mess hall, King Kong threatens Reese. Reese goes to bed thinking about how the new guy is going to screw up his life.
