- Nina wakes up at sunset without a clue where she is. She's in complete darkness and her face is covered.
- She feels something move beside her. Luckily it turns out to be Dave.
- They're in the back of their van, but their phones are gone. Maybe Father Ramon's claim to have killed them worked… They open the door, and see that the van is parked where they left it.
- Dave goes to scout, and they end up hiding behind a shed when Barry and Dermid walk out of the house. One gets in their van, and the other gets in a truck, and both drive away.
- Dave and Nina carefully enter the house. Dave checks out the basement, and reports back that Father Ramon is alive (whew).
- Then Nina meets Reuben. He's a hot teenage guy, smeared with dirt and blood, and he has a vibrancy about him that's the exact opposite of a vampire; Nina is totally drawn to him.
- Father Ramon explains that McKinnon stuck them in Reuben's cell. McKinnon locked Reuben back in after sunrise, when Nina and Dave were dead to the world.
- Nina asks if they should let out the other werewolf, but Reuben explains that he killed Orlando and ate him while in wolf form (yuck).
- Father Ramon says they should all get out of there, but Reuben says he wants to wait for the McKinnons to return so he can kill them. Father Ramon gently reminds Reuben that he's killed enough people already, which gets Reuben to back down.
- There's a car parked outside, which they decide to use as their getaway vehicle.
