- Dave pays the cab driver, who pulls off. Nina and Dave realize that they've lost Horace—turns out he's scoping out Nefley's flat.
- As the vamps gaze in, they see Barry McKinnon snoozing on a couch, with a gun in his lap. They make a plan to enter simultaneously from the front and back doors (since they snagged Nefley's keys) in order to surprise Barry.
- Horace goes in the front door, and Nina and Dave go in the back door. The TV is on, and it's loud. Nina wants to pick up a knife but Dave points to his teeth, reinforcing the idea that they're supposed to be banking on their vampire strengths. Onward.
