- When Nina gets back to the living room, she sees Horace with a mouth full of blood—he says it was the only solution to keep Dermid and Barry from coming after them.
- Nina leaves the room before the fresh blood can tempt her. Dave walks in, and she's relieved that he's there, because he's helped her resist temptation before. She almost feels strong at that moment.
- What are they going to do about Horace? He could've left by the front door to terrorize innocent people… Luckily, though, they find him puking, since the drugs in Dermid's system had a bad effect on him.
- Father Ramon shows up to help everyone back to Nina's mom's place, and Nina calls Sanford to update him on the situation. He's less than thrilled about it.
- Sanford chews Nina out for deciding to go along with Horace's rescue plan, which has resulted in spreading the infection and putting everyone at risk.
- Before they get home, Nina asks Dave if Horace invited him along on the rescue mission. Dave says no, though. Is this one more thing Horace has lied about?
