Chapter 3
- Musket asks Theo what the heck he's doing, so Theo tells him what happened and says the soldiers will be after Dr. Absalom too. The good doctor comes out and introduces himself to Theo as "Count Las Bombas." Okay…
- Theo wants to go to the police to get their help, but Las Bombas tells him he can't trust the law and no one will believe him. Big T leaves them behind and makes his way to the constabulary, where he runs into an old friend, Constable Pohn.
- Pohn tells Theo that Anton is dead and that the police are after him now. He recommends that Theo take to the road, but T still can't believe it—this isn't fair, and he did nothing wrong.
- But Theo takes his friend's advice and heads out of Dorning anyway. On the way, he thinks over his actions—he actually wanted to kill a guy for the first time. If he wanted to murder someone, is he still a good person? That's some heavy stuff.
