- Gemma has no idea what's going on and if this is what people refer to as a "crush." She's never felt this way before, but she can't stop thinking about the new guy.
- During third period, Gemma goes to astronomy, which is usually her favorite class. Today, however, she feels completely discombobulated.
- The teacher, Mr. Sterling, announces that they have two new students, then he introduces a girl, Aislin Avery, and a boy, Alex Avery. Of course the boy is the guy that Gemma ran into earlier.
- With her luck, they're both seated at Gemma's table. Aislin smiles and introduces herself to Gemma, but Alex just continues to glare at her. Somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed…
- Whenever she looks at him she still gets that jolt of electricity, though. Aislin tells them that they're supposed to be working together in a group to go over review questions, but Alex gets all cranky and says that he doesn't want to work together. Then he grabs his book bag and walks straight out of the room. Talk about a drama llama.
