- Gemma is still shaken up as she drives home because she can't shake the feeling that the monsters from her nightmares were in that parking lot.
- She gets home, locks herself in her bedroom, and tries to figure out what to do. Should she wait to see what happens, or should she tell her grandparents?
- Gemma decides to go downstairs to tell Marco and Sophia, but they act cold and distant again, and she realizes that she doesn't want to share with them. She also suspects that they've been talking about her.
- In astronomy class, Gemma sees that she'll just be sitting alone with Alex today because Aislin is home sick with the flu. This should be interesting.
- They start bickering again and Gemma's temper flares up, but then Alex surprises her by telling her that he's thinking of cutting class and wants to know if she'd like to come along.
- She thinks he's kidding at first, but is still too curious to pass up the chance to find out more. And so, despite her better judgment, Gemma picks up her book bag and follows him right out the door.
