Chapter 91: November 8
- She's exhausted, bored, dirty, and hates her job.
Chapter 92: November 10
- Alice quits her job to look for one that makes more money (and makes her less miserable); the girls splurge and buy a second-hand TV.
Chapter 93: November 11
- Alice gets a new job with Mario Mellani, who makes custom jewelry and needed someone young and fresh to work in his store.
- Mr. Mellani is sweet and jolly and has a huge family that he wants to introduce to Alice.
Chapter 94: November 13
- Alice's new gig is pretty awesome.
- Mr. Mellani invited the girls out to his house on Sunday and she's excited to feel like part of a family again.
- She has also noticed that "if she weren't so picky" she could date all the wealthy, older, married men who come into the store to ogle her. Nice.
Chapter 95
- Alice is glad that Chris's days off coincide with hers because there aren't many other young people around.
Chapter 96: November 16
- The Mellanis are the stereotypical boisterous, affectionate Italian family and Alice loves them, but they make her feel even more isolated.
Chapter 97: November 19
- Shelia has invited the girls to a shindig at her place after work on Saturday.
Chapter 98: November 20
- Alice and Chris are worried that they don't have anything to wear to the party, but Shelia tells them to just be comfortable.
- The girls are still hoping to open their own boutique soon.
Chapter 99: November 21
- Alice is still excited about Shelia's party—she's anticipating movie stars and other celebrities will be there, and just can't get over how glamorous it all is.
Chapter 100: November 22
- More of Alice being excited/anxious about the party.
