When you imagine a magical dude who lives in a crystal city and rules over a bunch of psychics, what do you see? If you say that you see an old man with a white beard and a robe, you'd be right on the money when it comes to this book. Dyvinius, leader of the Foreseers, is a sage old man and he wants to recruit Gemma for the Foreseers. When Alex explains their predicament, though, Dyvinius is understanding and says that Gemma can stay with the Keepers for the time being, but eventually she'll have to return to train as a Foreseer. Seems reasonable.
