- It looks like the bank robbery will come back to bite him—Ed's summoned to the court to testify about what happened.
- He's a smart aleck with the judge and takes a few (verbal) jabs at the robber while he can; the judge tells him to check himself before he wrecks himself (though not in those exact words).
- After he's finished giving his testimony, Ed starts walking away, when the robber calls out to him.
- "You're a dead man," the guy tells him. Gulp.
- Don't worry about that guy, the policewoman tells Ed… but he's not so sure.
