- There's a knock at the door one day. It's Audrey, and she asks if she can stay—not just for the night, but for good. And then she kisses Ed. She is finally in a place where she can love him and be loved.
- Ed races into the other room to get the folder—he wants to know if he and Audrey are together in there—but he can't find it.
- Audrey tells him they're not in the folder because it's up to them to make their relationship happen. And it only belongs to them too.
- Ed is content with Audrey there, and they cuddle. That's when Ed realizes the point of this entire thing: he's not the messenger, he's the message.
