- Ed decides that in order to deal with Gavin Rose properly, he'll have to become like him. Okay…
- He waits for Gavin where he met up with him before, and when he comes alone, Ed grabs the kid and beats the living daylights out of him. He doesn't enjoy it, but he wants to give Gavin a reason to bond with his older brother.
- With bloody hands, Ed walks over to a phone booth. There's a girl talking up a storm on it, and Ed asks her to get off the phone so he can make a call really fast.
- Eventually she does, and Ed calls up Daniel Rose.
- He tells the guy that his brother is in a bad way; then he hangs up.
- Just like that, he helped the brothers bond—he sees Daniel helping Gavin as they walk back to the house.
- Then Ed turns and goes home to the Doorman.
