- A week later Marv comes up to Ed and simply says thanks. It's all he needs to say.
- Then Ed gets a special request for him to drive someone from Cabramatta Rd—where Suzanne lives.
- It turns out Suzanne hates her dad and a lot of other things about her life, but she loves her kid, Melinda; she wants to make things right with Marv.
- Then Suzanne asks Ed if he hates her. No way, Ed replies, and Suzanne points out that what she did was unforgiveable but she's here now.
- Ed calls Marv and gets him to meet up at the playground. When he arrives, he's so happy to see his kid that he cries.
- He pushes his daughter on the swings, and Ed thinks it's one of the most beautiful things he's ever seen.
