the cops show up

- When Father O'Reilly leaves, Ed feels good about setting the whole thing up.
- Then the police show up with brushes and soap. And guess what? They want Ed to clean up the paint and trash off the road.
- Ed scrubs away, thinking about how good it is to be alive.
