What is up with the ending? It totally leaves us hanging, wondering what Edmund does next. Will he go home to Elvira? Will he continue on with King Richard? As far as the ending goes, we truly have no idea.
But so it goes with the first book in a series. Is it maddening? Yup. But it also compels us to run to the library to pick up the next installment in the saga—The Leopard Sword—anxious to find out what the heck happens next.
